Airtel Offers Unlimited VoIP Calls To Philippines

Airtel users can now make calls to Philippines at an affordable rate! The service provider, in association with Globe Telecom, has launched an initiative that will allow the Airtel users to make unlimited calls to Globe numbers in Philippines via Airtel’s voice calling app airtel talk at cheap rates.

In order to make calls, Airtel users should download airtel talk app and buy Globe Philippines Unlimited Calling Plan. As of now, the users can make unlimited high-quality VoIP calls to their Globe and TM contacts in the country for as low as $14.99 or P700 for a 30-day period, or only P23.30 per day.

“This partnership marks a significant milestone that will enable the Filipino diaspora residing globally to connect with loved ones back in Philippines using airtel talk at affordable rates,” Ajay Chitkara, Director & CEO, Global Voice & Data Business, Airtel said.

The app airtel talk also provides share credit feature, through which the users can share Calling Credit with those who are unable to buy Credit. There is also a Call Me Free feature, which enables friends and family call Airtel talk users for free using any Airtel landline/Mobile.

“This is indeed another milestone in the regional telecom landscape as two of the biggest telcos converge to give customers another innovative service that gives customers access to unlimited calling at a price within reach,” Nikko Acosta, Senior Vice President for International Business Group at Globe, said.

The app is available for both iOS and Android users.
