The networking solutions provider Brocade has appointed Joe Poehls, former a lead solution architect of Infoblox, as the principal systems engineer for Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). In his new role, he will handle the technical leadership alongside consulting and customer deployments of Brocade application delivery and optimization solutions.
Earlier, Poehls also worked with F5 Networks, where he specialized in data center network and core application design for Financial Services Industry (FSI) customers. Besides, he was associated with OKI and Extreme Networks fulfilling various strategic design and consulting roles. Overall, he brings in 17 years of industry experience to Brocade.

“Joe will prove instrumental as a key member of our regional systems engineering team in helping customers leverage digital transformation to their advantage, through moving to New IP network architectures that are open, agile, and vendor-agnostic.” Joe Poehls will report to Orcun Tezel in the company.
