Millimetre Wave Frequency Along with Sub-6GHz Are Supported Samsung’s new #5G Modem

Many telecom companies have come up with a number of announcements to win the 5G services race in the US. Verizon and AT&T will be launching wave spectrum based on high-band millimeter by the end of 2018. Therefore, many mobile device manufacturing companies have also started to come up with 5G network supported models for their consumers.

Earlier this year, Qualcomm has launched an antenna module that uses millimeter wave and thus, it fits into any smartphones. The launch has taken place right after the announcement of Verizon. The company declared that it would launch 5G mobile that would be supported by Motorola.

According to Sprint, it will launch its network during early 2019 along with the 5G enabled smartphone from LG. Samsung, the globally leading network infrastructure, and electronics company have also announced that it will enter the space of 5G modem.

Samsung has joined hands together with Verizon for providing wireless broadband services. Besides, the company also has an essential part in the 5G roadmap of Sprint. The company is looking forward to deploying MMO antennas as well.
