At the recent Mobile World Congress (MWC), Barcelona, the worldwide leader in IT Cisco demonstrated various ways by which it assists service providers to keep in pace with the evolving digitisation.
The company, in association with Ericsson, has announced new joint customer engagements and offerings. The duo engages with customers globally, spanning networking, mobility and cloud technologies, to IP transformation and managed services agreements, forming new business opportunities.
Cisco also launched Cisco Ultra, a mobile services platform for the operators to deploy services efficiently. The company develops next-generation 5G router for business and residential services in collaboration with Intel and Ericsson, two other stalwarts in the IT arena.
It bets big on Internet of Things too through its partnership with AT&T. The partnership develops powerful IoT tools and technologies to enable business enterprises develop and monetize IoT apps.
At MWC, Cisco displayed its flagship products and services – Cisco Ultra services platform, Ran Backhaul, Virtualized Radio Access, 5G network innovation, Evolved Packet Care, Voice over Wi-Fi, Integrated policy control, security solutions and Infinite video Live.
The company’s CEO Chuck Robbins, Senior VP of Engineering, CTO and Chief Architect Dave Ward, VP of Service Provider Marketing Doug Webster, Distinguished Consulting Engineer Mark Grayson, VP of Business Operations, Service Provider Cisco Jose Van Dijk and VP-General Manager, Mobility Solutions Suraj Shetty spoke at the congress on various topics.
