Telcos And Tech Vendor To Participate In MEF16

More than 60 organizations, including 40 service provider and technology vendor sponsors, and 22+ analyst, press, and other event partners have confirmed their participation at the upcoming MEF16 Global Networking Conference to be held on 7-10 November 2016 at the Hilton Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, announced the company.

Commenting on the growing momentum, Kevin Vachon, Chief Operating Officer of the MEF said, “We are delighted to welcome a large group of additional event supporters who are focused on accelerating the industry transition to on-demand ‘Third Network’ services delivered over networks powered by CE 2.0 (Carrier Ethernet 2.0), LSO (Lifecycle Service Orchestration), SDN, and NFV.”

“We are especially pleased that service providers account for 40% of our sponsors. This includes a variety of operators that provide services in Asia, EMEA, Latin America, and North America,” he added.

While event’s Platinum sponsors include AT&T, Comcast Business, PCCW Global, and Verizon, the gold sponsors comprise of Telecom Italia Sparkle, Accedian, Amdocs, CENX, Ciena, Fujitsu, Infovista, MRV, NEC / NetCracker, Oracle Communications, RAD, and WebNMS.

A number of analysts are also expected to take part in the conference. There are dozens of media and event partners as well.

MEF16 is focused on enabling dynamic ‘Third Network’ services for the digital economy and the hyper-connected world. 1200+ attendees are expected to participate in the event.
