VeloCloud Networks, Inc., the Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN company, today announced deals for the VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN for Service Providers solution from AT&T, Sprint and TelePacific. These latest carriers, as well as Vonage, MetTel, EarthLink, NewCloud Networks and NetOne, are leveraging the benefits of VeloCloud Powered SD-WAN for their customers, says the press release issued by the company.
“It’s clear that VeloCloud is the SD-WAN solution of choice among the broadest set of global service providers and carriers,” said Sanjay Uppal, CEO and Co-Founder of VeloCloud Networks. “These wins are the result of service providers evaluating all of the available SD-WAN offerings and selecting VeloCloud based on our unique set of differentiated advantages. VeloCloud enables these service providers to optimize application performance, reliably deliver networking over the Internet, extend services to the cloud, integrate with their existing core networks, and efficiently manage their networks.”
VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN delivers assured application performance, secure and available hybrid networks, and zero touch WAN automation. These capabilities are extended directly to service provider private backbones and cloud datacenters and services, as well as between enterprise sites. A cloud-delivered solution enables SD-WAN over last mile broadband and off-net circuits to access existing private backbones while leveraging their reliable mid-mile connectivity and existing connectivity to enterprise sites. The solution also has the flexibility to be deployed as a fully over-the-top solution with on-premises SD-WAN hubs. This is uniquely combined with the use of VeloCloud Gateways for direct SD-WAN access to SaaS and IaaS destinations.
VeloCloud Cloud-Delivered SD-WAN for Service Providers includes support for multi-VRF segmentation, simplified overlay flow control with BGP and OSPF routing, MPLS CoS support, PKI infrastructure, Rest APIs and Netflow support. Roles-based multi-tier management enables self-service enterprise portals, a variety of managed services partner roles, and a full multi-tenant NOC dashboard and gateways for the operator. Zero-touch branches are enabled with both purpose-built appliances and SD-WAN virtual Edges that can be automatically instantiated on virtual CPEs. VeloCloud SD-WAN will also enable providers to instantiate best-of-breed third party Virtual Network Functions (VNFs) such as next-generation firewalls.
